It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Arthur Akers of Pembroke, Virginia, who passed away on March 11, 2024, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Larry Arthur Akers and Elizabeth Mariah Shrader Akers. He is survived by : his sister Larua E. Lilly (Jerry) of Pembroke; his nephew Zachary C. Richardson (Hannah) of Pearisburg; and his nieces, Mollie Richardson of Pembroke, Kellie M. Haynes (Beau) of Guam, Heather D. Lilly of Galax and Katelyn R. Lilly of Pembroke. He is also survived by 12 great nieces & nephews.
