She was predeceased by: her father Letcher Oakes; and her brother David Oakes. She is survived by: her mother Ruby Mae Oakes; her husband Tony Hatchett; her sons, Brandon Hatchett and Dustin Hatchett (Michelle); her grandchildren, Jalen Hatchett, Cale Hatchett and Ashlyn Denny; her siblings, Steve Oakes (Delores), Donna Thurman (late Gary), Patty Deathridge (late Butch) and Terry Oakes (Rita); her sister-in-law Marie Hatchett (late Kenneth); and her friend Mark Case. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
