Sue Thomas Cobb Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Thomas Cobb of Penn Laird, Virginia, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Moyers and Reba V. Heatwole Moyers; her former husband Edward A. Thomas; her grandson Justin P. Thomas; her husband Daniel Paul Cobb; Peter Thomas.
She is survived by: her daughters, Josie Cobb-Holloway (Robert) and Mollie Thomas; her sister Gayle Moyers Whetzel (Virgil); her grandchildren, Nathan Cobb-Chewning, Kathryn Holloway, Isaac Holloway and Aiden Holloway; her sister-in-law Gloria Cobb Smith (Allen); and her cousins, Nelson Moyers (Loretta) and Winston Wenger (JoAnn). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kyger Funeral Home - Harrisonburg (3173 Spotswood Trail, Harrisonburg, VA 22801). A Mass will be held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (154 N Main St, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
