He was predeceased by: his parents, Mack Daniel Gilliam and Lillie Bessie "Stewart" Gilliam; and his siblings, Lovie Gilliam, Barbara Parsons, Wanda Sue Moore and Ronnie Gilliam.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Gilliam; his sons, Chris Gilliam (Melissa) and Jay Gilliam (Angie); his grandchildren, Brittny Hickey (Dustin), Katlyn Lloyd (George), Mack Gilliam (Cassidy) and Taylor Gilliam (Megan); his great grandchild Alice Hickey; his sister Janice Edwards (Charlie); and his daughters, Emily Kimberlin, Dana Cupp and Roni Kimberlin. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other close relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Belcher Chapel (546 Left Hand Poor Valley, Pennington Gap, VA 24277). A funeral service was held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
