She was predeceased by: her parents, Bill Sword and Ruth Livesay Sword; and her husband Billy Joe Rasnic. She is survived by: her children, Greg Rasnic and Teresa Rasnic of Stickleyville, Virginia; and her brother P. C. Sword (Codeanne) of Stickleyville, Virginia. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many dear friends.
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers or food, memorial contributions be made to the Activities Fund at Lee Nursing and Rehabilitation, 208 Health Care Drive, Pennington Gap, VA 24277, in memory of Mary Ella.
