She is survived by: her husband Robert "Bob" Gregory Rose; her brother Vernon Washington Brown, II (Mary) of Woodstock; her nieces and nephews, Orlando Walter Brown, Jr., Elliott Alexander Brown, Siara-Lauren Rose Brown of New York, Jensine Marie Brown of Miami, Florida and Samuel Zachary Brown of San Diego, California.; and her caregiver Marvette McKensie of Chesterfield, Virginia..

Deborah also selflessly volunteered for the American Heart Association while living in Petersburg, Virginia.
