She was predeceased by: her mother Barbara M. Devontenno; her stepfather Elder Kinzo Devontenno; her siblings, Kinzo "Ducky" Devontenno, Jr., Barbara Ann Campbell and Cortez Devontenno; her grandparents, Prince, Lottie Moore and Helen Virginia Blackwell; and her aunts and uncles, Claiborne, Lynn, Albert Moore, William Blackwell, Claudette Blackwell and Doris Sanders.

She is survived by: her children, Veronica, Juan and James, Jr. Crenshaw (Judy); her brother Michael Devontenno; her father Clifton Alexander Blackwell (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Corey Crenshaw, Derrell Mohammed, Timara Hargrove, Donnell Mann and Tabreil Taylor; her nieces and nephews, Maria Walker (Shawn), Shree Devontenno, Michael Ridges and Anthony Devontenno; her cousins, Prince Moore, Vivian Ann Lovett and Gail; her godson Bernard Harper; Joyce Blackwell Jones. She is also survived by other cousins, ex co-workers, neighbors, in-laws and friends.
