She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac Massenburg and Mary Massenburg; her siblings, Isaac Massenburg (Anne), Geraldine Mayes (Charles) and Anniebelle; and her nephew Joseph Mayes.
She is survived by: her husband Criss Thorpe; her niece Pamela Roache (Donnie Roache); her aunt Catherine Moore (Howard); her siblings-in-law, Alma Manson, Laura Brooks, Betty Link and Roylee; her grandsons, James Thorpe, Andrew Thorpe (Helen) and Raymond Robinson; and her friend Lucille Turner. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives.
