He was predeceased by: his father Robert Ferguson; and his children, Michael Ferguson and Cynthia Davis. He is survived by: his mother Helen Louise "Tootie" Conway; his grandchildren, Eric Davis (Deshawana) of Newport News, VA, Erika Davis, Ariel, Sammara and Londyn Ferguson of Fredericksburg, VA; his daughter-in-law Shelia Ferguson; his caregiver Cherry Morgan; and his next door neighbor Vernon Madison. He is also survived by his grandkids and his Annie J-his wife.
Over the years, he received numerous honors for his service, including being named Mason of the Year—an accolade that reflected both his character and contributions to the Masonic brotherhood.
