He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Holliday Smith; and his siblings, Albert, Charles, Andrew, Sarah Evans and Eleanor Bowling.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Hall (Carl) of Prince George, VA and Karen S. El-Amin of Greensboro, NC; and his granddaughters, Jasmine Jones of Duluth, GA, Myah and Makayla El-Amin of Greensboro, NC.
