It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Morris Wayne Overstreet of Phenix, Virginia, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Overstreet and Zola Gibson Overstreet; and his siblings, John Overstreet, Christine Compton and Doris Fallen.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mae Grishaw Overstreet; his children, Wayne Overstreet, Tom Overstreet of Phenix, Renee Overstreet Camden (Phil) of Evington and Lynn Overstreet of Phenix; his grandsons, Blake Overstreet of Phenix and Derek Ferguson of Evington; and his siblings, Roger Overstreet (Anna) of Powhatan and Joyce Guthrie of Forest. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
