He is survived by: his mother Betty Viars; his wife Deborah Jane Viars of Pilgrims Knob, VA; his sons, Ricky Adam Viars (Amanda) of Hale Creek, VA and Brandon Ray Viars of Slate Creek, VA; his brothers, Michael Lee Viars of Claypool Hill, VA, Rufus Wayne Viars (Audree) of Compton Mtn and Robert Austin Viars of Compton Mtn; his grandchildren, Autumn Belle Viars and Axel Ridge Viars; and his nieces and nephews, Michael Colton Viars, Jordan Wayne Viars, Mickey Ryan Viars, Hunter McKinley Whited and Kanyon Donald Whited.
