As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Linda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Edward Barker and Bertha Jefferson Barker; and her siblings, Clyde Barker, Carl Barker, Jimmie Barker and Betty Sue Barker.
She is survived by: her sister Alice Faye Shelton of Pittsville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Round Pond Baptist Church Cemetery (11469 Toshes Rd, Sandy Level, VA 24161).
