He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Astor "Buster" Waters and Eva Tallent Waters; his son Aaron Matthew Waters; and his brother Daryl "Doc" Waters. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Hammock Waters; his son Brian Waters of Pittsville; his siblings, Richard Waters (Debra) of Blairs, Geneatta Shelton (Joe) of Pittsville and Kathy Shields (Steve) of Pittsville; and his grandchildren, Lauren Waters and Tristen Waters. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pittsville Pentecostal Holiness Church (4281 Pittsville Rd, Gretna, VA 24557). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
