With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Karen Hess of Poquoson, Virginia, born in Richlands, Virginia, who passed away on July 21, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Troy Hale and Virginia Hale; her brothers, Jimmy and Raymond Hale; and her great grandchild Amari Tucker.

She is survived by : her husband Everett Hess; her children, Greg Hess (Sheila) and Gail Cooke (Randy); her grandson Austin Tucker; her great grandchild Avery Tucker; and her siblings, Shirley Hampton (Homer) of Sevierville, TN and Ronnie Hale (Barbara) of Sevierville, TN. She is also survived by other loving relatives and dear friends.
