With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jane Strickland of Poquoson, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Evelyn Holloway and Ellison Holloway. She is survived by: her pets, Buffy and Bubba; her husband Jay Strickland; her brother Billy Holloway; her children, Frankie Cawley and Debra Daughtry; her stepson Terry Strickland; her daughter-in-law Anita Cawley; her children, Connie Hotaling (Bob) and Curtis Cawley; her stepsons, Timmy Strickland and Rodney Strickland; and her grandchildren, Jami Anthony, Curtis Cawley, Jr. and Josh Daughtry.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Aid Society in Hampton.
