He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy J. Smith and Georgia Smith; and his brothers, John Smith and Donald Smith (Dutch). He is survived by: his parents-in-law, Ernest and Mildred Coltrain; his brother-in-law Merrill Maye; his wife Celia; his children, Troy Smith (Libbie) and Dana Lawson (Wayne); his grandsons, Justin Smith (Torey), Derrick Lawson (Holly), Keith Lawson (Andrea) and Jared Smith (Kaylei); his great grandchildren, Brooklynn Smith, Amaya Lawson, Isabella Lawson and Parker Smith; and his sisters-in-law, Christine Smith and Jane Leonard (Gerald). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great nephews.
