He is survived by: his wife Louise; his sisters, Judy Anderson and Martha Kelley (Dennis); his brother-in-law Joseph Newton (Shirley); his children, Katherine Witherspoon (Eric Hardiman) and Jeffrey Witherspoon (Laura); and his grandchildren, Eleanor, Claire, Graham, Adeline, Amelia and Ava. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
