She was predeceased by: her father Weldon Weakley. She is survived by: her mother Verna Weakley (Kyger); her husband Dale Gibson; her sister Pam Whetzel of Rawley Springs; and her sibling's children, Jaimie Whetzel and Justin Whetzel.
