With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Agnes McFadden of Portsmouth, Virginia, born in Lexington, Virginia, who passed away on August 23, 2023 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Engleman and Lucy Clark Engleman; and her spouse Thomas P. McFadden. She is survived by: her children, William McFadden (Mary) of Portsmouth, Mary Susan Tanner (David) of Elizabeth City, NC and Peggy (Robert Briggs) of Tappahannock, VA. She is also survived by six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to First Presbyterian Church or to the Portsmouth Humane Society, 4022 Seaboard Ct., Portsmouth, VA 23701.
