It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allen Edgar Dillard (Portsmouth, Virginia), who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Rufus Dillard and Flora Dillard; his wife Grace Vivian Slaughter; his children, Edgar Jr., Reginald and Vivian; his siblings, William and Mary; his sister-in-law Cynthia; his grandchildren, Charlay, Janiele, Jasmayne and Aurelia; his great grandchildren, Arden and Tobin; his stepchildren, Sarron and Romal Booker; and his daughters-in-law, Irean and Joyce. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and cousins.
