She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Williams and Helen Williams; her husband Willie James Murphy; and her children, Helen Alberta Murphy, Thomas James, Leroy and Curtis Murphy.
She is survived by: her children, Willie Lee, Jimmy Floyd Murphy, Viola Ferebee and Shelia Benton; and her children-in-law, Larry Benton, Viola and Barbara Ann Murphy. She is also survived by great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and close friends.
