She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Kane and Effie Curtis Kane; her husband George Willard Ryder, Sr.; her sons, George Ryder, Jr., Eric Ryder and Brian Ryder; her grandson Preston Ryder; and her siblings, Ira Martin Kane, Jr., Gerald Curtis Kane, Richard Wayne Kane and Mattie Susie Kane.

She is survived by: her daughter Karen A. Dortch (Harry) of Smithfield; her grandchildren, Travis Dortch, Nathan Ryder, Lori Cressler (Scott) and Stacie Ryder; and her siblings, Virginia Elaine Kane, Marlyn Leona Kane, Eloise Lorraine Kane, Beverly Ann Kane, Jasper Alonzo Kane and Gregory Bruce Kane. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-greatgrandchild.
