He is survived by: his pet Bubba; his wife Mildred "Duckie" Wainwright; his daughters, Jeanne Geister of Michigan and Donna Moorehead of Portsmouth; his siblings, Donald Wainwright (Dorothy) of Chesapeake and Elizabeth Jackson of Newport News; and his grandchildren, Dana Griffin of Gloucester, Kenneth Wainwright of Gloucester and Jon Thomas "JT" Wainwright of Portsmouth. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandson and numerous nieces and nephews.
