He is survived by: his children, Deborah Gray, Darnell Gray, Lorraine Gray and Leslie Atkins (Duke); his siblings, Melvin Hill Gray, Edith Hill, Jessye Ridley and Florine Morrison; and his aunts, Augusta and Baines.
