He was predeceased by: his parents, Kemp Corbett and Annie Robinson; and his brothers, Norwood Robinson, Bobby G. Robinson, Sr. and Ronald Robinson Sr..
He is survived by: his wife Nancy McNeill Robinson; his children, Gene (Bonnie), Lynn (Lance), Lisa (Leon) and Melinda; and his sister Melinda Gibson. He is also survived by his family, which includes eleven grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
