She is survived by: her children, Wilberta and Wilbert; her grandchildren, Yael (Robert), Tempestt (Joseph, Sr.) and Eian; her great grandchildren, Logan, Joseph, Jr. and Sophia; her sibling's children, Larry Chappelle, Johnny Bowman and Christiana Bowman; and her great-niece Nikki Garner-Dancy. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
A memorial gathering was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fisher Funeral Home (1520 Effingham St, Portsmouth, VA 23704). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Mount Carmel Baptist Church (3310 Deep Creek Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23702).
