He is survived by: his children, Bonita Frazier, Ernestine Manning (Marshall), Rosa Hinton (Apostle Earl Hinton), Linwood Hines (Theresa), Melvin Hines (Debbie), Ernest Edwin Hines (Pattie) and Russell Hines (Angie); and his siblings, Mary Hines, Bossie Hines and Alexander Hines. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
