Elsie S. Head Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on August 14, 2025, Elsie S. Head of Portsmouth, Virginia, born in Gloucester, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. "Dusty" Head; and her son-in-law Lawrence Bates. She is survived by: her children, Robert F. Head (Barbara), John M. Head (Carol) and Barbara Jean Bates; her grandchildren, Angela Napier, Julie Head, Christopher Bates, Jonathan Bates, Shelly Parker and Stacey Kellam; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth Hagen, Alex Hagen, Holly Parker, Jordan Parker, Noah Bates and McKenna Bates; and her close friends, Fred, Janice Packett and Jack Atkinson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
