Wright (Portsmouth, Virginia), born in Burgaw, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 16, 2025 at the age of 77. He was predeceased by: his parents, Beulah Wright and Willie Wright. He is survived by: his siblings, Catherline, Beulah Mae, Hattie, Edward, James, Dan, Frank, Roscoe, Robert and Louis; his uncle Jerry; his wife Diane V. Newby; his children, Travis (Jackie), Sharon and Perrin; his great grandchild Jado; his sibling Willie Scott; and his siblings-in-law, Calvin (Wanda) and Shirley (Russell). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and beloved friends.
