She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Sommerville and Irene Sommerville; her siblings, Robert Jr., Edward, John, Lawrence, Mildred and Blanche; and her husband Percy Comer.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janet Jefferson (James) and Deborah Green; her granddaughters, Tiffany Jefferson, Tonya Harvey (Michael), Felicia Green-Holloway (Charles, Jr.), Kia Green and Neyarnda Green; and her great grandchild Myah Harvey.
