She is survived by: her children, Samuel Knight, Jr., Percy Newsome (LaKeisha), James Knight, David Knight, Ronisha Newsome, Anthony Knight, Jermaine Newsome, Teresa Reed and Deborah Dixon; and her siblings, John Neal (Wilma) and Rose Hudgins.
