We announce the death of Franklin C. Rockwell of Portsmouth, Virginia, who passed away on August 23, 2026, at the age of 91. Franklin will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Franklin’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He was predeceased by: his wife Diane Marie Rockwell; and his children, Therese Marie Bass, Allan Glenn Rockwell and Clifford Donald Rockwell. He is survived by: his children, Barbara Broxton (Paul), Doris Atkinson (Ralph), Eric Rockwell and Richard Rockwell. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.
