She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Quince and Annie Quince; her husband Loyal Thomas Grimes, Sr.; her son Loyal Thomas Grimes, Jr.; and her grandson Shaquille Turner.
She is survived by: her daughters, Annie Gunter III (Benjamin) and Barbara Selby (Gregory); her daughter-in-law Doretha Grimes; her siblings-in-law, Charles Grimes and Pearl Quince; and her grandchildren, Jenique Wilson (Calvin), Jerrod Thompkins, Kia Davis, Benjamin Gunter IV (Theresa), Marcus Gunter, Gregory Selby II (Anna), Gevell Selby (Embolic), Gerron Selby, Tonya Rogers (Mike), Tomeka Church (Stephen), Tanya Gale Grimes, Bernetta McGill (Robert), Tomesha King (Tyrone), Tiffany Grimes, Rykea Conquest, Tantania Conquest, Cora Miles, Terrill Grimes (Tanya), Loyal Thomas (Erika), Grimes III, Leshawn Grimes, Jervon Johnson and Travon Grimes. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
