She is survived by: her sons, Richard Rouse Smith, Jr. (Kate) and Douglas Griffin Smith; her sister Wanda Clay Hamilton; her grandson Richard Tyler Smith; Elizabeth Stewart Hatton (Wiley). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
