He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Schwartz; his wife Shirley B. Schwartz; his son Jack A. Schwartz; and his siblings, William Schwartz and Harriett Elbertz.
He is survived by: his daughters, Terry Russo (John) and Valerie J. Brown (Christopher); and his sister Linda Powaznik. He is also survived by four grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and extended family.
