We are sad to announce that, on May 7, 2022, at the age of 78, James Ashcroft (Portsmouth, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father John W. Ashcroft Sr.; his daughter Stephanie Lynn Russell; and his sister Helen Hudson. He is survived by: his wife Tillie Price Ashcroft; his daughters, Alice Jean Gallihugh (Glen) and Cindy Mae Sydenstricker (Bill); and his siblings, Nancy Taylor and Jack Ashcroft. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and twelve great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
