James Lee Williams Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Lee Williams Sr. of Portsmouth, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 11, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Eugene Williams and Thelma Louis Harrell; his wife Joan Rae Williams; and his siblings, G. Eugene Williams, Ruth Cutchins and Audrey Willliams.
He is survived by: his children, Jay Williams (Paige), Merryn, Olivia, James III and Janet Morrison (Rick); his grandchildren, Lindsey Chitwood (Will) and Lauren Slough; and his close friend Edith Dodd. He is also survived by his family, friends.
