He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Suzanne Jones Eavey; his son Zachary J. Eavey (Emily) of Va; his mother Olive Perdue Eavey of Portsmouth; his brother Kenneth M. Eavey (Katherine) of Waynesboro, VA; and his grandchildren, Laird, Evangeline, Ruth and Mabel.
John was an avid participant in the MS 150 Bike Ride, and memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or a favorite charity of the sender's choice.
