He was predeceased by: his parents, Lizzie Ferrell and Albert Ferrell; his wife Patricia Ann Ferrell; and his siblings, James, Mildred and Gladys.
He is survived by: his children, John P. Ferrell and Lynn McDermott (James Walther); his grandchildren, Chelsea Gunter (Jeremy Gunter), Joshua McDermott, Noah McDermott and Jackie McDermott; and his great grandchildren, Lexi Gahagan, Jamie Gunter and Carolina Gunter.
The family suggest memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
