He was predeceased by: his wife Lydia V. Lofton; his parents, Bebe Ann and Charles Lofton; and his sisters, Rose Lee Slade and Goldie Lofton.

He is survived by: his children, John (Tana), Roger (Aimee) and Cindy Bailey (Russell); his grandchildren, Meagan Matthews (Tyler), Brittany Bailey (Tonya), Kendall Buonviri (Randy) and Ryan Bailey; his great grandchildren, Austin, Aubrey and Brooks; and his nieces, Marianne Flahiff and Rosalie Maxey.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, 536 Homestead Rd., Chesapeake, VA 23321.
