She was predeceased by: her parents, George David Jernigan and Sarah Williford Jernigan; and her brother Byron Jernigan. She is survived by: her husband Harvey Seargeant; her son Eric; her grandsons, Cole and Hunter; and her siblings, David Wayne Jernigan and Sharon Jernigan.
