She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Franklin Burch and Opal Pearl Grubbs Smith; her husband Paul Jerome Mitchell; her son Larry Mitchell; her brother Leslie Dean Burch; and her half-brother Dennis Fielder.
She is survived by: her daughter Shari Congleton of Suffolk, VA; her grandchildren, Christopher Landrigan of Washington, D. C., Crystal Landrigan of Norfolk, VA and Breana Barbara Mitchell of Los Angeles, CA; and her great grandchild Jaxson Landrigan.
