She was predeceased by: her father Ruben Mitchell; her husband Lee; her sons, Robert and Bernard Johnson; and her grandson Darion De'Relle Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, Beverly P. Wilson (David), Pamela Johnson-Williams (Robert), Henry "Pete" Johnson (Regina) and Barry Johnson (Cynthia); and her siblings, Goldie Slade and David Mitchell (Yoko). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, in-laws, family, and friends.
