She is survived by: her sisters, Josephine and Carolyn; her siblings-in-law, John Chatman (Aida), Lois Ann Chatmon Patton (late James) and Catherine Chatmon (late William); her daughter Cynthia Chatmon Arrington (Dewayne K. Arrington Sr.); her grandchildren, Simone, Dewayne Jr. and Brandon; her son Samuel Clay Chatmon Jr. (Joan); and her grandchildren, Whitney and Chasity. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
