He was predeceased by: his parents, Relius Evans and Nina Evans; and his siblings, Virginia Horne, Helen Greene and Melvin Whitaker.
He is survived by: his wife Florence Harding Williams; his children, Morris C. Williams, Jr. and Marzetta C. Lewis (Terry); his grandchildren, Kendra Williams, Jamal Williams, Marcus Yusuf, Taryl Lewis and Tré Lewis; his great grandchildren, Davon Fields, Mhaki Williams, Adrian Williams-Smith and Gianna Grace Lewis; and his nephew Moses Whitaker, Sr. (Catherine). He is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
