We announce the death of Patricia Jones Capilongo (Portsmouth, Virginia), who passed away on July 26, 2026, at the age of 81. Patricia will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Patricia will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Patricia’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Jones and Mamie Jones; her husband Lou Capilongo; and her brother J. C. Jones. She is survived by: her son Jeff Capilongo (Catherine Capilongo); and her granddaughter Ashley Capilongo.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Creation United Methodist Church.
