He was predeceased by: his father James Grigg. He is survived by: his wife Sarah C. Grigg; his children, Roland Grigg, Elizabeth Dunc, Redmond Grigg (Karen) and Robert Grigg (Marsha); and his sister Beverly Gish (Tom). He is also survived by 5 grandchildren.
