He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L., Sr. and Ruth Rosser Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Lora Moorefield Murphy; his daughter Lisa Murphy Moore (Joseph); his brothers, Robert L. Murphy, Jr. (Emily) and Randall W. Murphy (Debbie); his grandsons, Hunter Edwards (Kayla) and Christian Moore; his great grandchildren, Paighton, Brady and Ashton; and his sister-in-law Lydia Moorefield Hickey (Ronald). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews & cousins.
