He is survived by: his children, Sabrina Monroe, Keisha Monroe Smith and Keith Monroe (Ebony); his grandchildren, Tevin Monroe, Makayla Smith, Keith Monroe, Jr. and Deja Willis; and his siblings, Thomas Monroe (Pat), Cynthia Barnes and Joanne McGhee (Raleigh). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends and family.
